- PageName - the name of the page to display language links for. May be ommitted on an English parent page.
- Language Code (de, fr, it) - code designating the language of the parent page if it is not English.

Assume you have an English page called PageName. This we call the parent page. On the top of this page, you would include the text
A German translation would be called PageName/de, a French translation PageName/fr, an Italian translation PageName/it.
On the top of these pages, you would include the text
Parent pages in other languages than English
Assume you have a French parent page called PageName. An English translation would be called PageName/en. And as before, a German tranlation would be called PageName/de, an Italian translation PageName/it.

- The language of a newly translated page will not show in the other language versions untill these are newly edited. You should do a "zero edit" of those pages: click on "edit" and then on "save page" without changing anything.

This template is a modification of http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Template:Languages. To use it, you must have the ParserFunction Extension installed. - The functionality in the SwissBib Project Wiki differs from the Mediawiki Template which assumes that all parent pages are in English. We don't.
